My Favorite Hydrating Toners
So I know I do quite a lot of blogging on decor and travel, but I wanted to share another passion of mine, BEAUTY! I love the beauty industry and everything it has to offer. To put it lightly, I'd say I'm a beauty product junkie. And, one of my favorite things to revel in, is skincare. Although I have an awesome facialist, I always like to experiment with new products. So, today I want to share my love affair with toners! Yep, toners!
The old story on toners was one of pH balancing. Others also know toners to remove excess makeup, and bacteria from your face that your cleanser couldn't reach. But toners these days actually serve another amazing purpose, and that's to also hydrate and soothe the skin! And, why I really love to invest in a good toner, is its versatility during the different seasons. When the weather warms up, sweat and oils create blockage that leads to break outs. Toners with salicylic acid can be really helpful for unclogging your pores and preventing those horrid summer breakouts we all hate. And guess what?! When the winter nears (for those who actually get a winter unlike us in California), when the ambient air is dry, hydrating toners work their magic to bring your skin back to life! Oh, and for those of you that are constantly traveling, these hydrating toners are a must have for a soft and refreshed face!
And don't be one of those lazzies who thinks you can skip out on moisturizers and serums! You'll still need those ladies! Look at toners like an added benefit!
How To Use Them:
Once you're done cleansing your face, make sure to immediately use a toner. You want to use your skincare products in order of their consistency. For the most effective absorption, you always start with the thinnest formula first, and work your way up to the thickest and creamiest. So again, after your cleanse, TONE!
